Email william@seriantech.org with your question, the iPhone model, and the version of Piqelo (Settings > About). Please don't send your NAS password.
How do I connect my NAS?
Open Piqelo, tap Get Started, and enter your UGREENlink ID with the username and password you use to sign in to your NAS. Then choose the folder your backups should go into. Piqelo works the same at home and away.
If your NAS isn't on UGREENlink, choose Manual WebDAV fallback on the sign-in screen and enter your NAS's WebDAV address instead.
My NAS asks for a two-factor code
If two-factor sign-in is on for your NAS account, Piqelo shows a code field after you enter your password. Type the current code from the app you use for two-factor sign-in, then tap Sign In again.
What does Wi-Fi only do?
With Wi-Fi only on, which is the default, Piqelo backs up only when your iPhone is on Wi-Fi, so it never uses mobile data. Turn it off in Settings to let backups run on mobile data too.
What does Remove from NAS do?
It deletes Piqelo's copy of the selected photos and videos from your NAS, after you confirm. It only removes files Piqelo put there, and it never touches the photos on your iPhone. Piqelo won't back those items up again until you choose Back Up Again.
What does Start Over do?
Start Over, at the bottom of Settings, erases everything Piqelo keeps on this iPhone: your NAS sign-in, backup records, search data and settings. Then it returns to setup. Files on your NAS and photos in your library stay as they are, and Restore Records from NAS brings your backup history back after you sign in again.
Is search by meaning private?
Yes. When you turn it on, Piqelo downloads a 542 MB search model once, over Wi-Fi. After that, your photos are indexed and searched on your iPhone. Your photos and your searches never leave it.
